EXTREEM PLEIN AIR. Soooooo hot and humid.
I just spent three days in Annapolis in a Billyo workshop with Karen Scannell, Lynn Meta, Meg Walsh and David Diaz. What a great time but sooooooo hot.

Thick paint, visual techniques for seeing, easel time with Billyo, group critique, good food and company. It was a fantastic workshop. Thank your all for a wonderful , informative time.

Wendy Culpt's Garden   Queen Anns Lace   Little White House   Field with Barns       It is May and I am still remembering April and all of the people I reconnected with during The Sweet Spot. There was so much happiness in the room at the opening. I felt like I was having a big group hug. Thank you everyone for your support. The show was well received. As George and I were packing up, Lee Newman appeared to tell me how much he enjoyed the show. He was teaching a class at the time. He told me he brought his students through the show and talked about the work.

As I look down the guest list it is good to find names of people I have not seen in years as well s those whom I have not met before. The show was a success.
Six paintings and two drawings have new homes.

A change in studio presents problems. Nothing is perfect. My new space in the Sandy Spring Museum is great but I can not use solvents and oil paint in the space. Ok, I paint outside. Not a problem. I have been on larger drawings in Oil Pastel and Oil Bar,using photo sources and working large. Great fun.
