Night of the Super Moon

In January 2017 a full moon was closest to the earth in it’s daily orbit around the earth and thus called a Supper Moon. It was the brightest super moon recorded for that year. On that January day I was headed for bed when I looked outside and was taken with the snowy scene from the deck which looks over our back yard. It was 11:30pm and I was mesmerized by the bright light of the moon on snow with trees and their shadows. The neighbors were up and we were all looking at a beautiful site.
